The Problem

I know from personal experience that many creators of color must use their income towards basic needs, which means they do not have the financial resources to secure critical entertainment law and business representation. Lack of access to advocacy, leads to exploitation for creators of color. The Solution: here is a place where music, entertainment law and business resources are FREE, for everyone, everywhere.

The Project
The resources created and shared on this site will be available for artists and communities ALL OVER THE GLOBE. That’s it, that’s the song!
This site, The Music Stop, will serve as a beacon for equity and equality for creators of color everywhere.

WOAH! How will you do that?

Well that's a part of THE PLAN

Sharing these resources is promoting equity and equality by giving creators of color better access to career resources and finding out what additional resources we need to succeed. This will help in furthering research to inform what steps educators, and community leaders can take towards solving these issues for future generations of creators of color all over the world. By fixing this problem, we can help fix the wealth gap.

School's Out

Why do you want to do this?

As a graduate of Berklee College of Music, in Boston, MA, I'm a songwriter, performer, producer and composer. I am a Black music creator. At Berklee I majored in Contemporary Writing & Production and graduated at the top of my class. Now as a student at Harvard Law School, I have a unique opportunity to bridge the gap that exists between life changing entertainment industry info and those who need it!
